The Albuquerque Museum had a great exhibition of the art of Ernest L. Blumenschein who moved to Taos in 1919 and painted until 1960. He was one of the six founding members of the The Taos Society of Artists and painted New Mexico landscapes and its people, especially northern New Mexico. His paintings sell for upwards of $400,000.
