Sailing the 'Bongo Fury' flamingo boat on a beautiful day at Storrie Lake

Formation flying or on the chase with water balloons?

Here's a good motto to live by.
I suppose that you could substitute
wine for beer at times.

Tierra Amarilla photos

I made the annual trip to Heron Lake for the Hobie cat regatta.
Friday and Saturday were overcast and occasionally rainy so I did a
cruise around the small towns of Chama, Tierra Amarilla,
La Puente, Los Ojos, Plaza Blanca, Cebolleta and Abiquiu.

This is the old Morada with 3 crosses above Abiquiu

Sunday and Monday saw great weather for sailing.
Heron is the prettiest lake in NM with the Brazos Cliffs to the east.

I finally won something (a new sailbag) at the Sat. night raffle

One of the newer fleet members expanded on my rubber tubing
balloon launchers and made this high tech launcher.
It has 3 different barrels, one each for water balloons, potatoes
and marshmallows.
It uses compressed air, which he brings with him and can launch
5 balloons at once.

Launching water balloons

We launched potatoes from here that cleared the boats and landed
in the water beyond

Old trucks

Here's a couple of old truck photos that I've processed in Lightroom. These are both
from outside Taos.
